Our owner, Kay Bradley, has long harboured ambitions to create her own series of British-made tiaras, crafted using heritage techniques, traceable materials and natural diamonds. Tiaras are often regarded as relics of a time gone by, although this couldn’t be further from the truth. These classic symbols of elegance are just as popular today, especially among brides, and demonstrate the heights of craftsmanship that our homegrown goldsmiths can reach.
From the moment she launched the York Rose fine jewellery collection in 2022, Kay knew that creating a York Rose tiara was the ultimate next step in her creative journey. By the summer of 2025, she had achieved her goal, and the York Rose Tiara was born.

The York Rose Tiara will soon form part of The Seasons – a unique series of four tiaras that celebrate Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter in Yorkshire. The first to be launched represents the Summer, while a soon-to-be-revealed York Daffodil Tiara will pay homage to the optimism and renewal of the spring months. A third piece – the Rainbow Hope Tiara – will recognise autumn as a time of harvest, abundance and accomplishment in vibrant coloured gemstones.
If you have an idea for a bespoke fine jewellery creation, no matter how optimistic, the Bradley’s Jewellers York team is here to bring your vision to life. Speak to us about custom engagement rings, matching jewellery sets, and men’s signet rings.
Owner, Kay Bradley
Kay gave visitors to York Minster a sneak peek of the York Rose Tiara earlier this year. However, its debut was made on a very special occasion – the wedding of Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd and his new bride, Hanni Treweek – on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
As a loyal customer and friend of Bradley’s Jewellers York, Hanni chose the York Rose Tiara, which is valued at £50,000, to accompany her custom-made 18ct yellow gold oval-cut diamond engagement ring with a hidden halo of diamonds, also designed by Kay Bradley. For her wedding day, she also loaned a beautiful tennis bracelet with 14 carats of oval-shaped blue sapphires and round brilliant-cut diamonds set in 18ct white gold, valued at £15,500.
More items that Hanni has purchased from Bradley’s Jewellers York include a pair of 18ct white gold and diamond drop earrings and a diamond solitaire pendant in 9ct white gold.
This evolving selection of fine jewellery is Kay Bradley’s ode to the inspiring and uplifting city of York, her personal and professional home. The collection draws inspiration from the traditional White Rose of Yorkshire and York Minster’s Rose Window, incorporating cocktail rings, earrings, bangles, pendants and engagement rings set with laboratory-grown and natural diamonds.
Kay has recently added new pieces to the collection, including an engraved gentleman’s signet ring and the diamond-set Brontë ring available in 18ct rose, white and yellow gold. Each piece is an emotional homage to the people, landscapes and creativity of Yorkshire.
