This bespoke art piece was conceptualised by Kay, and designed by Liisa Tallgren, Fabergé’s Head of Design. It is the first modern-day Fabergé egg to feature a robin surprise, making this something truly special for collectors.
This bespoke egg objet stands at 12.7 cm high, showcasing a variety of precious materials and techniques that reflect the skills of Fabergé Work masters. The outer shell of the Egg mirrors the innovative techniques used for the Egg Surprise Locket, this time featuring three distinct sizes of golden snowflakes, some dusted with diamonds, to capture the movement of falling snow in the wintertime.
The Egg itself is perched on a fluted golden stem that is set with pearls and diamonds, leading the eye to a carved aventurine base in a festive shade of green.

As the Christmas Robin Egg Objet opens, it reveals a warm golden interior and a meticulously engraved robin decorated with hand- painted enamel. This little bird sits on a branch of holly as if caught ‘red-handed’ eating berries with one poised in its beak. This festive moment in time is placed on a crystal platform with a shimmering finish to capture the sense of fallen snow in the robin’s woodland home.
A latticework of 18k yellow gold surrounding the scene is the perfect finishing touch.
