The Bradley's Difference

We are a family-owned, family-run business and we place that at the heart of everything we do. Our absolute priority is customer satisfaction and we strive to ensure that the level of service that we provide is uniformly brilliant. We carefully hand pick our stock, often purchasing individual items that we believe our customers will love.

Our staff are well trained and experienced and we are proud to invest in their education so that they are able to serve customers confident that they have a firm grounding not only the products but the gems and precious metals and watch movements that go into making those same products. We try our hardest to do even the littlest thing right to make the customers experience one that makes them want to come back into our stores: that is the Bradley’s Difference.

The 500-year-old, Grade II Listed Building is located in the heart of Low Petergate, over-looked by the spectacular Gothic Cathedral, which is York Minster – the oldest Gothic building in England with the largest stained glass, Rose Window in Europe.

The building itself was a former apothecary, which has today been beautifully restored by Mr. Bradley to its magnificent Dickensian stature: from the original monochrome façade, to its intimate low ceilings, wooden beams and oak-panelled splendour. This quirky little trove of treasures and trinkets results in a truly, unique and romantic shopping experience.

The Low Petergate store, run by Kay Bradley, hosts an extensive, unparalleled selection of Antique and vintage-inspired pieces: specialising in diamonds (engagements rings, wedding bands and eternity rings) and coloured stones, including pearls and watches and other traditional giftwares.
